How This Works

St. Philip's Scrip Program works like this: Certificates and debit cards are purchased at a discount and then re-sold to customers in the parish office, through the school, or after masses. All profits go towards the school and to the parish.

All customers must fill out the St. Philip Scrip Order Form. This keeps track of all sales and keeps our computer up-to-date. The order form lists all items carried in the on-hand inventory and the special order items. The percent of profit St. Philip makes is also listed.

School

Through the school, orders are placed on Mondays. All orders, unless specified on the order form as return the same day, will be filled on Wednesday. (This allows for control of our inventory.) Families are able to use Scrip to pay for the school Book Fee which currently is $80 (they would need to earn this in amount of PROFIT). Next year, the Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (T.R.I.P.) will be implemented again. More details on this to follow when available. In order for parents to receive credit for their Book Fee, they must complete an order form and present payment themselves. No others may give credit for families except parents. The school family customers also may purchase Scrip anytime in the parish office rather than using the Monday/Wednesday order system.

In Addition To School

For non-school purchases, orders may be placed in the parish office on Monday mornings by 8:30 a.m. Orders will also be filled on Wednesday unless specified on the order form that it is needed immediately. Of course, the customer may purchase their Scrip immediately from our inventory unless it is an unusually large amount, is an item we do not carry, or if we are out of an item. Purchases can be made in the office every day of the week during regular office hours. Scrip is also sold after all masses.
